Food Emporium is the primary grocery store for the area 5 minutes away from the apartment, and you can find gourmet options at Mekelburgs nearby. The G train is a 5 min walk from the apartment and the C is about 10 min. It would be a great spot for somebody starting to discover NYC or establishing deeper roots.
